QRise is developed and operated by Divine Engine, based in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.

Data stored locally on your device (not sent to servers unless you sign in):

  • QR codes you generate (title, content, type, creation date)

  • QR codes you scan (content and timestamp)

  • Collections and folder names

  • App preferences (theme, notifications)

Data collected only if you create an account (optional):

  • Email address (for account identification)

  • Google account email (if using Google Sign-In)

  • Dynamic QR codes (stored for redirect tracking)

  • Scan logs (country, device type, timestamp — no full IP stored)

We do NOT collect:

  • Precise location

  • Contacts

  • Photos or camera roll

  • Device identifiers (IMEI, GAID)

  • Browsing history

  • Financial information


3. Camera Permission

QRise uses camera access only to scan QR codes.
We do not store or transmit images.


4. How We Use Your Data

  • Provide QR generation and scanning features

  • Enable dynamic QR redirects (account required)

  • Show analytics for QR scans (account required)

  • Send health alerts for broken links (optional)

  • Secure authentication using JWT

We do NOT sell or use your data for advertising profiling.


5. Third-Party Services

QRise uses:

  • Google Sign-In (authentication)

  • Google AdMob (ads in future versions)

  • Neon (PostgreSQL database, stored in USA, GDPR-compliant)


6. Data Retention

  • Local data: stored until you clear app data

  • Account data: stored while account is active

  • Scan logs: deleted after 90 days

You can request deletion anytime via email.


7. Data Security

  • HTTPS encryption (TLS)

  • Secure token storage

  • Passwords hashed (bcrypt)

  • Restricted database access


8. Your Rights

You may have rights to:

  • Access your data

  • Correct your data

  • Delete your data

  • Export your data

  • Object to data processing
